Garlic Shrimp Pasta
A quick and easy pasta dish with succulent shrimp and a garlic-infused sauce.
Ingredients
- •8 oz Spaghetti
- •1 lb Large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- •2 tablespoons Olive oil
- •4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- •1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
- •1/4 cup White wine (optional)
- •2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- •2 tablespoons Butter
- •1/4 cup Fresh parsley (chopped)
- •to taste Salt
- •to taste Black pepper
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour in white wine (if using) and lemon juice. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add butter and stir until melted.
- Toss in the cooked spaghetti and parsley. If needed, add some reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
Notes
- •For a non-alcoholic version, replace white wine with chicken or vegetable broth.
- •You can substitute spaghetti with any pasta of your choice.
- •Add grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
