Turkey Pasta
This is a simple pasta dish with ground turkey.
Ingredients
- •olive oil
- •1 lb. ground turkey
- •1 head garlic
- •2 cans petite diced tomatoes (15 oz. each)
- •1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- •3 bay leaves
- •1 c. heavy whipping cream
- •salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Coat large stainless-steel pan with olive oil, heat on medium heat. Add garlic and cook for about 1 minute before adding ground turkey to brown. When turkey has evenly browned, make a well in the center of the pan, add more oil and garlic. Mix garlic into the meat.
- Add petite diced tomatoes, stir to combine. Add red pepper flakes and bay leaves. Simmer on low for 20-30 minutes.
- Add heavy cream, stir and return to simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve over rotini pasta, cooked to al dente; sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
