Honey Miso Chicken with Ginger Broth & Rice recipe.
Ingredients
- •cut into smaller tenders 1 chicken breast
- •1 tbsp miso paste
- •2 tbsp soy sauce
- •1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- •1 tbsp honey
- •2 garlic cloves (grated)
- •1 tbsp sesame oil
- •300 ml chicken broth
- •1 spring onion (roughly chopped)
- •3 coriander roots
- •4 cm ginger (roughly chopped)
- •1 garlic clove (roughly chopped)
- •0.5 tbsp peppercorns
- •0.5 cup white jasmine rice (washed)
- •3 cm ginger (grated)
- •1 cup water
- •salt
- •2 spring onions
- •Broccolini
- •sesame seed
- •Chilli crisp oil
- •Coriande
- •Chives
Instructions
- Start with the broth by simmering together all the ingredients in a pot with the lid on.
- During this time mixed together all the chicken marinade ingredients until smooth then add in the chicken and toss until all coated. (You can do this the night before)
- In a pan, on medium heat, fry the chicken on both sides until golden. Keep pouring in the remaining marinade to make it sticky and saucey.
- During this time make the rice by adding all the ingredients to a pot, simmer on low heat until the water has evaporated and the rice is cooked and fluffy.
