Condensed Chicken Soup from scratch
This recipe is used in Scalloped Potato casserole - replacing the can of condensed soup.
Ingredients
- •6 T. butter
- •6 T. flour
- •1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- •1/4 tsp. black pepper
- •1/4 tsp. salt
- •1 c. chicken broth
- •1/4 c. heavy cream
- •1/4 c. milk
Instructions
- Over medium heat, melt butter, add flour, cook flour in butter to form a roux.
- Whisk for a minute.
- Add seasonings, broth, cream, and milk.
- Cook to thicken.
